The Grand Reopening of our SPM Kindergarten and Primary School Campus was held on Tuesday the 19th of July 2022. Thank you very much to all those who attended and made this event very special indeed.

Our end in mind has grown our expectations for how we can best serve our High School students have developed. With the continued support of the Yayasan, we are able to present to you the new and exciting design for our Junior and Senior High school.

It has been our pleasure educating our children for over the last 25 years. Thank you for your continued support and trust in us. We would like to now look to the next 25 years.

Today would like to give you an update on three main topics. Firstly our Kindergarten and Primary School Campus Renovations. Secondly, information on our New High School Campus.

Our kindergarten and Primary campus building has celebrated more than 80 birthdays, and we are in the process of giving it some greatly needed care and attention. The new design will be in keeping with our historic building and have an added third floor. 

This third floor will allow us to continue to grow and accommodate two classes for each primary grade. Moreover, it will provide extra classrooms for our specialized subjects. 

We would like to give a big thank you to our operations team for ensuring this project benefits our whole community.

Dear SPM Parents and Students, you are cordially invited to attend our grand reopening in July 2022. 

As our ambitions for our students expand and grow, so must we as a school. Therefore we would like to announce that our high school campus will be relocating to Kebayoran Baru. 

This new high school campus will allow us extra facilities for our students to enjoy. Plus, it will be a modern dedicated space spanning over three stories. Our dedicated high school academic team will also be relocating to this new campus, ensuring that we keep the spirits of the seven habits and the significant progress we've made in the Cambridge curriculum. 

The new campus brings with it benefits and advantages in the facilities we can offer to our students.

A larger building size, more classrooms, more space for specialised labs such as physics science IT art and Music. Even the library will be bigger. the canteen will offer more space and our students can even enjoy a café area. We will have more student small group rooms and a larger auditorium for events and performances. All this extra space will allow our community to grow to up to 300 students.

And it doesn't stop there, how will all the students exercise? In our new expanded sports facilities of course. A full size basketball court, a three on three basketball court, a mini futsal area, Badminton courts and even a table tennis area.

The new high school campus in Kebayoran Baru is approximately 8 km from our SPM Kindergarten and Primary Menteng. Depending on Jakarta traffic, it takes anywhere from 12 to 30 minutes to the new campus. 

SPM will be providing a free bus service, five days a week, morning and afternoon, running between our two campuses for those who need it.

The grand opening for our new Kebayoran Baru High School Campus will be in July 2023. Yet before this, our goal is to ensure that we synergize effectively with parents, students, teachers and staff members. Ensuring that we seek first to understand all members of our SPM community.

With this in mind, we now turn to communication. We will be contacting each of you on an individual and small group basis, looking for your feedback over the coming months. We want to understand your concerns and ensure that we address any questions you may have. Once we have received your feedback, we will continue to have whole school updates every three months.

We are currently working with leading designers, and we will be able to share the 3-D plans and designs for the new campus with you in May 2022. Plus, in July 2022, we will share with you the SPM reward packages for students continuing with us in our new Kebayoran Baru High School Campus.

And finally, we will start offering tours of the new campus for students and parents next year in 2023.
