The American Mathematics Olympiad (AMO) 2025!

Celebrating Grit, Growth, and Bronze-Level Brilliance at Sekolah Perkumpulan Mandiri.

The wave of academic excellence keeps rolling at SPM!

If you listen closely to the hallways of our Panglima Polim campus, you might just hear the sound of gears turning and synapses firing. Why? Because our students have once again stepped onto the global stage, this time taking on the challenge of the American Mathematics Olympiad (AMO) 2025!

Mathematics is a universal language, and our students have shown they are fluent speakers. It takes immense courage to compete at this level, and we are overjoyed to celebrate the specific achievements of our young mathematicians.

🥉 A HUGE Applause for Our Bronze Winner! 🥉

We want to shine a massive spotlight on Harianto (5th Grader)!

Harianto didn't just participate; he excelled. Bringing home the Bronze Award is a spectacular achievement. It shows not just natural talent, but the discipline to sit down, focus, and solve problems that would stump many adults. Harianto, you have shown us what it looks like to Put First Things First (Habit 3), dedicating time to master your craft. We are so proud of you!

🌟 Celebrating Our Courageous Challengers 🌟

In a 7 Habits school, we know that the "Win" isn't just in the medal; it’s in the courage to enter the arena. We want to recognize our incredible students who earned their Certificates of Participation:

  • Skyla (4th Grader)

  • Adelia (4th Grader)

  • Aurelius (6th Grader)

  • Deza (6th Grader)

These students embodied Habit 1: Be Proactive. They chose to challenge themselves. They chose to step out of their comfort zones. They stood toe-to-toe with peers from around the world to test their skills. That is the definition of a Growth Mindset!

Sharpening the Saw

Participating in the AMO is the ultimate way to Sharpen the Saw (Habit 7) in the mental dimension. Whether they took home a medal or a wealth of experience, every single one of these students is walking away smarter, stronger, and more resilient than they were before.

To Harianto, Skyla, Adelia, Aurelius, and Deza: Thank you for representing SPM with such dignity and brainpower. You are proving that we aren't just learning for school; we are learning for life!

Let’s hear it for our Math Olympians! 🎉
