Maika Achieves National and Provincial Success at the International Kangaroo Linguistic Contest

Sekolah Perkumpulan Mandiri (SPM) proudly celebrates the impressive achievement of Maika, a bright and talented Grade 3 student, who has made her mark on the national stage at the International Kangaroo Linguistic Contest (IKLC) Indonesia 2025.

Maika earned 1st Place in the DKI Jakarta Province and an outstanding 3rd Place nationally, showcasing her strong language and reasoning skills among thousands of participants from across the country. This remarkable performance highlights her ability to think critically and solve challenging linguistic problems with creativity and precision — a rare accomplishment for such a young learner.

The IKLC is part of the internationally recognized Kangaroo competition network, known for its challenging and innovative problem sets designed to nurture students’ logical thinking, linguistic abilities, and love of learning. In Indonesia, the competition attracts participants from a wide range of schools, both public and private, making Maika’s placement especially commendable.
